Meet the child
Yana has a cerebral palsy, right hemiparesis, 2 severity. Because of the hemiparesis, girl’s members grow differently: the right foot is shorter than the left foot. Usually in such cases physiotherapy, regular exercises and wearing a splint helps, but in Yana’s case her doctor in a German clinic in Aachen decided to do a surgical reconstruction of the right tibial tendon so that the girl could grow up and develop as all healthy children.
