Vika has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a malignant disease of the blood and bone marrow. The disease was diagnosed after suffering a cold. Attentive parents noticed weakness, fatigue, pallor of the child and sought medical help. The shocking diagnosis was made in April 2022.
Fortunately, lymphoblastic leukemia can be successfully treated. The therapy is carried out according to the protocol at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology in Borovlyany, but Vika developed a severe allergic reaction to one of the main drugs (Asparaginase). It is recommended to replace it with another - Ervinaz, which is not available in the center of children's oncology and even in Belarus, and parents need to purchase it on their own abroad. With Ervinase, the treatment will continue according to the protocol and the chances of a healthy life without relapse remain high. The price of the medicine is high, but together we can help parents buy the necessary expensive medicine!
Despite all the difficulties, Vika remains a kind, inquisitive, cheerful child! The girl dreams of finishing her treatment and returning home, where she is surrounded by loving parents and older sister. Now Vika is homeschooled, but she really wants to go to school with other children.
