Varvara is a friendly and positive 7-years old kid, she was growing up finding a big joy and curiosity in learning about world around her...Unfortunately, the girl got sick and faced with a complex diagnosis of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. The disease manifests itself as pain in the joints, swelling, deformities and restriction of movement, with eye damage - and progresses rapidly. Varya is forced to spend more time in hospitals than at home, the girl cannot develop normally by age.
The disease does not respond to the treatment. The girl is recommended a highly effective medication Adalimumab (Humira) to achieve remission. The Chance Foundation paid for 2 packs of the drug so that the girl could start treatment on time. Funds for the purchase of the drug were raised through a donation from our regular partners. For the further course, another 9 packs of an expensive medication are needed.
