Vadim Rakcheev has lymphangioma - a tumor that forms of lymphatic vessels. The tumor is quite large and is located in the neck. Unfortunately, treatment with picibanil (in most countries the disease is treated with this drug) did not give results. The tumor grows into the mediastinum, it significantly complicates any surgical intervention and to carry out operation lymphangioma must be reduced in size.
In the Nationwide Children's Hospital (USA) such children as Vadim are treated successfully, carrying out the sclerotherapy with foam doxycycline. Dr. James Murakami is ready to help the boy, but the treatment is very expensive. The cost of 8 courses of sclerotherapy and airfare is 88 000 dollars. After that, the boy will be operated on in Belarus.
