Polina is the youngest child in a large and friendly Kozlovich family, she also has an older sister and two older brothers.
When Polina was 2.5, she was operated on - partial removal of an intracerebral tumor. Since 2018, the girl has been undergoing treatment at the Pediatric Oncology Center in Borovlyany. The diagnosis is rare, the ongoing treatment only helps to contain the growth of the tumor. Thanks to the help of caring people, Polina was paid for a comprehensive genomic profiling (FMI test). This test makes it possible to assess the response to therapy at the genomic level, as well as the possibility of personalized treatment - the selection of targeted or immunotherapy.
