A year ago, Maria's eyesight deteriorated sharply. Just one morning "everything swam before my eyes and doubled." During the year, the girl underwent examinations and treatment. More and more new records with diagnoses appeared in medical documents, but vision only continued to deteriorate. Parents turned to both Belarusian and Russian specialists, and only in a clinic in St. Petersburg was a diagnosis made and surgical treatment was prescribed, which involves several stages.
Maria's parents paid for the first operation on their own. To continue treatment, the family turned to the foundation.
