Meet the child
Dear friends, 5-year-old Kseniya suffers from a chronic atrial tachycardia for two years. Tachycardia episodes typically begin slowly, gradually increasing with a heart rate of 200-240 beats per minute before returning to a normal heart rate of around 60 to 80 beats. Tachycardia attacks are accompanied by poor health, weakness, shortness of breath, dizziness and happen very often. In order to arrest these episodes, the girl continuously has to take high doses of anti-arrhythmic drugs. Unforchunately, drug treatment does not give the desired result.
Operation by a method of a radio-frequency ablyation (RChA) can help the kid. This low-invasive operation will hold in the Moscow scientific research institute of pediatrics and children's surgery. Doctors do advise to perform the surgery to remove the episodes of tachycardia as soon as possible, as the obstructiona is ccompanied by a high risk of developing progressive heart failure.
Dear friends, Ksyusha is a caring and responsible girl, she is optimistic about the future and hopes for a speedy recovery, the operation separates the girl from a full life, from bright new childhood impressions and opportunities. Thank you for helping the little heart beat smoothly!
