Dear friends, Dominika suffers from a congenital malformation of the conduction system of the heart, which causes frequent episodes of paroxysmal tachycardia with a heart rate of 200-240 beats/min. In order to arrest these episodes, the girl continuously has to take high doses of anti-arrhythmic drugs. Unfortunately, as a result of virus infection, Dominika has developed obstructive bronchitis that is worsened by the intake of the antiarrhythmic drugs. Doctors do advise to perform the surgery to remove the episodes of paroxysmal tachycardia as sson as possible, otherwise obstruction may lead to the development of chronic asthma. Surgery will be performed in SANTARISKIU clinic in Vilnius, Lithuania in Vilnius becasue due to technical reasons such interventions are performed on children from the age of 7 years old in Belarus.
