Danislav Yakovlev

   Danislav suffers from a neurodegenerative condition that results in cerebellar atrophy, severe motor and coordination disorders, and impaired speech development. At the age of 1, the boy was able to stand up and walk near the support, and take several steps without assistance. After a year, there was a gradual deterioration in the ability to move, as well as a change in muscle tone. The brain was scanned using MRI and cerebellar atrophy was detected. To clarify the diagnosis, a genetic examination is recommended. Danislav was supported by «Chance» program.
