Anna was diagnosed with arthrogryposis at birth. She was operated upon 5 times in Belarus, last time in 2013. Unfortunately the results of the surgical treatment are not satisfactory. Orthopaedic surgeons from the Scientific and Research Children’s Orthopaedic Institute named after Turner in Saint Petersburg recommend a new method of the surgical treatment. This method is not used in Belarus. The cost of the treatment equals to 311500 russian rubles.
