Alexey has generalized epilepsy, probably genetic, with the presence of serial epileptic spasms associated with sleep, which is resistant to medication. This is a form of epilepsy in which antiepileptic drugs in adequate doses and combinations are ineffective, which leads to severe consequences associated with deterioration of the child's mental and cognitive state. In order to select the appropriate treatment, the boy needs for genetic examination - complete exome sequencing. Alexey was supported by «Chance» program.
