Meet the child
Sasha had his first attacks of convulsions on the third day of his life. Further, numerous doctors, clinics, additional examinations, droppers and injections were waiting for the baby. At the age of seven months, Sasha recieved a combination treatment of two medications, which allowed him to put a temporary stop the attacks. The development of the child has progressed. But since the age of 1 year, the attacks have started again. MRI of the brain showed signs of pathological changes in the white matter of the right parietal lobe. The child was recommended to increase the dosage of anticonvulsants, dynamic MRI. In August 2022, a surgery was performed to remove the formation of the right parietal lobe. In addition, the primary diagnostic was cerebral palsy.
In February 2023, brain MRI was good, but EEG follow-up showed signs of epiactivity. The doctors recommended an additional genetic exam from the "hereditary epilepsy" panel.
