Elisey Astrashensky

Elisey first heard around the world when he was 2 years and 10 months - in 2011 he had a cochlear implant on one ear and connected speech processor Tempo +. In March 2013 Elisey was undergoing assessment and adjustment of the cochlear device at the St. Petersburg Institute of Ear, Nose and Throat, and it turned out that his implant is outdated and performs its functions to the limit: from 12 channels only 9 works. This significantly reduces the quality of hearing and transmits sound with distortion. The boy needs cochlear implants for the second ear. We appeal to all philanthropists to provide assistance in the acquisition of the implant and speech processor for the boy.
