At that moment the boy suffers from a progressive chronic condition "Graft versus host" a common form of lesion with the defeat of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, mucous membranes of the mouth, esophagus. Standard methods of treatment adopted in the Republic of Belarus are not helping. Effective treatment for this complication is to conduct an extracorporeal photopheresis.

Parents` letter (May 17, 2013)

Andrey Lisok was born on 18.09.98 and lives in town Nyasvizh. He follows a home-trained program of secondary school and has graduated from the 8th grade. The boy is keen on summer and winter fishing, loves animals, rides a bike and plays with friends. Unfortunately his possibilities are limited because of the illness.

The child is severely ill since 2001, when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. First relapse occurred on 8 November 2005 year. Second relapse — on December 2008. Andrey has undergone an allogenic related compatible bone marrow transplantation. At that moment the boy suffers from a progressive chronic condition "Graft versus host" a common form of lesion with the defeat of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, mucous membranes of the mouth, esophagus. Standard methods of treatment adopted in the Republic of Belarus are not helping. Effective treatment for this complication is to conduct an extracorporeal photopheresis. The cost of one procedure (1 set for the unit of extracorporeal photopheresis) is about $ 4,000.
