Maxim fights against high-risk neuroblastoma for more than six months. He has already undergone operational treatment and several chemotherapy courses. Our foundation helped Maksim family to pay for examination. In 2017 funds for the MIBG scintigraphy for the boy were transfered by the general partner of the fund "Beltransgaz."
The next stage of treatment Maksim needs urgently is MIBG therapy. MIBG is a targeted therapy that delivers radiation directly to cancer cells. MIBG therapy delivers more than medicine, it delivers hope to children with neuroblastoma. It is generally more effective, less painful, and requires less time in the hospital than other treatment options. Unfortunately, this therapy is not carried out in Belarus.
