Meet the child
Luba was born with intracranial cystic lesion and at the age of 2 the child had got left-sided spastic hemiparesis that was shown as limited movements of the left hand and partially left leg. Later all the symptoms of the epilepsy began to appear. Luba underwent the surgery in the Polish hospital to reduce the size of the cystic lesion as it affected the right eye’s nerves and was prescribed with the necessary medicines. In 2013 the treatment was changed after the consultation with the specialists in the German clinic. Besides it was recommended to have another brain surgery that will block sites of damage causing epileptic seizures. The surgery will also let Luba live without medicines. The cost of the surgery in the German clinic is 23 413 euro. All the other expenses connected with the trip to Germany will be covered by Luba’s parents. Dear benefactors, thank you for your help!
