From the first months of Ksenia's life, her parents noticed a delay in the engine development - she did not hold her head by age. Serial epileptic spasms began at the age of 4 months, up to 7-10 episodes daily. After the attacks, the child's development stopped. Ksenia has been diagnosed with epilepsy, occurring as epileptic encephalopathy and developmental encephalopathy with a history of serial epileptic spasms and asymmetric tonic convulsions at this time. In order to clarify the diagnosis and the right treatment choice, genetic analysis is needed. Ksenia received support through the "Chance" programme.
