Meet the child
Dasha's skin problems have been serious since she was born. The girl has hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. This is a genetic disorder of ectodermal development, characterized by malformations of such ectodermal structures as skin, hair, teeth, and sweat glands. Additionally, Dasha had an orthotopic heart transplant in June 2019. Despite the skin problems not disappearing, the doctors have found a treatment that has been effective. Dasha needs regular purchase of specialized products and medical dressings for skin care. The girl was supported through the «Medicines and medical equipment» program.
