Meet the child
Ilyusha's disease became known in the fall of 2018, he began treatment under protocol at the Belarussian Research Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology (Borovlyani, Belarus). He has been following through painful procedures, there are 6 chemotherapy blocks behind child’s fragile shoulders. Despite the difficult trials, Ilya looks at the world with a positive smile, never gives up and is persistently moving towards recovery!
The Foundation has paid for the required MIBG-examination and terapy in Moscow for Ilyusha. Funds for the MIBG-scintigraphy were transfered by the general partner of the fund "Gazprom Transgas Belarus".
Today the kid is undergoing complex antitumor treatment successfully, at the moment he is recovering after the first stem cell transplant. To consolidate the results and to avoid relapse of the disease, he needs to undergo a course of immunotherapy with anti GD2 antibodies on the basis of the Republican Scientific Practical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology. Effective immunotherapy holds particular promise for improving survival and quality of life, it is possible to achieve very good results in the treatment of nephroblastoma.
Until recently, such treatment could only be received abroad. Today, all the necessary conditions are available at the Belarussian Research Center. Only the expensive drug Dinutuximab beta is needed. This year, it is not possible to supply the medicine for budget funds, but it is vitally important to get therapy as soon as possible.
Dear benefactors, let us help Ilya to cope with the misfortune and defeat the disease! Thank you for helping children!
