Meet the child
Fedya has a lymphatic deformity in the right inferior limb. It is a congenital deformity of the lymphatic vessels, following which the soft tissues of the boy's right leg are enlarged in volume. Unfortunately, numerous procedures for the treatment of vascular malformations did not bring the desired result. So as he actively grows, Fedya experiences periodic intense pain in his leg after exercise, an increase in volume, and deformity of the right leg and lower third of the thigh.
The boy requires electrosclerotherapy with bleomycin (reverse electroporation method) at the University Hospital, Interdisciplinary Centre for the Treatment of Vascular Abnormalities in Germany. Sclerosis therapy is a process that is used to treat diseases of the vascular and lymphatic system, as well as vascular neoplasms.
At the end of 2022, the boy's family contacted the representative office of the "University Clinic" (Germany, Halle) about the possibility of treating Fedor, sending all the necessary examinations, MRI and photographs. In February, a positive response was provided to the family. The clinic has invoiced the treatment - 27.107 euros. A clinical visit is planned for May 22. Payment of the bill must be made at least one month in advance.
